Terms & Refunds

Who you are buying from. Adieu Anaïs, an independent musician selling her own recordings. Your card statement will show ADIEU ANAIS.

Buying music

Payments are processed by Stripe. Its Link service acts as the seller of record: it charges any sales tax or VAT due where you live, sends your receipt, and can help with payment questions. Prices are in US dollars. The EP is pay what you want.

When your payment clears, your music appears immediately, ready to play or download, and a confirmation email arrives with a link back to it.

Getting your music again

  • Your music is yours for good. There is no expiry on a purchase.
  • For the first 24 hours, the link in your confirmation email plays and downloads your music directly.
  • After that, ask for a fresh link any time on the Get your music again page. It is emailed only to the address you bought with, and works for 24 hours. Asking again while it still works sends you the same link.
  • On each link you can play as often as you like, and download each track up to 5 times.
  • These limits exist so a shared link stops working quickly. If they ever get in your way, email me .
  • If I add a file to something you already bought (a finished master, say), it appears in your order automatically and I will email you.

Using your music

Files are for your own listening. You may not resell them, upload them to streaming services, or use them in a video, game or advertisement without a licence. For licensing, get in touch .

Refunds

Digital files cannot be returned, so once you have downloaded a file I cannot refund it as a change of mind.

I will refund you in full if:

  • the download does not work and I cannot fix it;
  • you received the wrong files;
  • you were charged twice, or charged for something you did not buy.

If you have bought something and not yet downloaded it, ask within 14 days and I will refund it, no reason needed.

Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within five to ten working days. A refunded order stops working, because the site re-checks every link against Stripe, so access ends when the refund does.

Merchandise

Merch is on the way. When it arrives it will be sold, printed and shipped by Printful: you buy from them under their terms, and they handle delivery, tracking, returns and replacements for anything damaged or wrong. If you get stuck, tell me and I will chase it.
