Privacy

This site has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies. It sets no cookies of its own at all.

What the site itself stores

Nothing. There is no database and no accounts. Pages are files on a server.

The web server keeps short-lived request logs (IP address, page requested, time), which exist to keep the site up and to stop abuse. They are not used to build a profile of you and are discarded on a rolling basis.

When you buy something

Payment is handled by Stripe, who collect your card details and email address. I never see your full card number. Stripe stores your order; I look it up by order number when you open a download link, which is how the site knows the files are yours. See Stripe’s privacy policy .

A confirmation email is sent through an email service on my behalf. It goes to the address you gave Stripe, and it is sent once per order.

Merchandise and vinyl

Buying merchandise or vinyl takes you to Printful or elasticStage, who become the seller. They collect your name and shipping address under their own privacy policies. I do not receive your address.

The mailing list

Only if you ask. You can unsubscribe from any email, and the link is in every one. I do not sell, rent or share the list.

Embedded video

Thank-you videos and music videos are embedded from YouTube using its no-cookie domain, and the page sends no referrer, so your order number never reaches them. YouTube may still set storage when you press play; that is between you and them.

Your rights, and asking me things

Email anais@anaismusic.com and ask what I hold about you, or ask me to delete it. For anything in Stripe, Printful or elasticStage, I will point you at the right place or make the request for you.
